Unlike our competitors, we have chosen not to renew your antivirus subscription automatically. In fact, when you buy antivirus software from one of our competitors, in most cases (and often without you realising it), your antivirus subscription is automatically renewed when it expires – and sometimes at a different price to the one you originally paid…
Our prices are clearly stated on our website; there are no hidden charges and you only pay for the subscription period you have chosen (1, 2 or 3 years). At the end of this subscription period, we will notify you by email 60 days before your subscription expires. It’s entirely up to you whether or not to renew your subscription. You’re free to choose!
Automatic renewal can sometimes result in unwanted charges for consumers, particularly if they are not fully aware of the process or if they forget to disable this feature. Automatic renewals can also result in unexpected charges if customers do not have sufficient funds available on their credit card or if they are not informed in advance of the amounts due. By opting for manual renewal, our customers avoid these unexpected charges and have full control over their spending.
By choosing manual renewal, you are free to renew your subscription on the same terms or to change your protection level, if, for example, you have realised that you are not using all the features of your current package. You can also increase or decrease the number of devices you wish to protect. This ensures that your subscription renewal truly meets your needs.
The practice of automatic renewal also raises privacy concerns, as it often involves the collection and storage of sensitive data such as credit card information and payment details. By opting for manual renewal, we minimise the risk of our customers’ personal data being compromised and strengthen their confidence in our commitment to protecting their privacy.
